Zijin News on 10th September, The first “China technology innovation and sustainable development in Mining Industry”forum hosted by China Mining Association was held in Zijin Mining Group Co.,Ltd. .The theme of the forum is to "Practice the concept of green mountain and clear water, and continous scientific and technological innovation".

 

Peng Qiming, President of China Mining Association, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.“There are two goals of the forum. Firstly, mining is a traditional industry supported by high technology, and technology innovation has a non-negligible effect on the development of mining industry.Secondly, mining is an important driving force for the development of manufacturing, and the development of mining is also inseparable from the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The organizers hope to accelerate the cross-border integration of mining and the technology through this forum.”Said by President Peng Qiming. 

QiuGuanzhou, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said in his speech that in recent years, China's mining industry has continued to practice the "Green Mountain and Clear Water" theory. The construction of green mines in an intelligent way has achieved remarkable results, and scientific and technological innovations have emerged endlessly. Among them, Zijin Mining's original "Intergrating five ore treatments into one" mining project management model has opened up a new path to develop low-grade and refractory mineral resources in an economical and efficient way. Scientific and technological innovation is a fundamental strategy to solve the problem of resource development and utilization, and has great strategic significance for improving the sustainable development of national resources.
