Leading global metals miner Zijin was named the winner of the Environmental-Ecological Contribution Award at the 2026 Sedex Supply Chain Awards ceremony held in Shanghai on August 25. The company was recognized for its green mining and ecological restoration practices throughout the lifecycle of mine sites. It was also shortlisted for the Social–Responsibility Contribution Award.

The Sedex Supply Chain Awards are an industry awards program that champions global sustainability practices. They recognize corporate contributions and innovations in the environmental and social dimensions of supply chains and help establish best practices in sustainable and responsible supply chain management. More than 200 entries were submitted for this year’s awards, with only 15% of the applicants, including companies and individuals, ultimately receiving awards.
