The process of mine exploitation generates a lot of complex wastewater. The traditional chemical treatment suffers slag overload and secondary pollution. By bringing forth new ideas to key scale inhibition technology, membrane in utilization of mine wastewater, and combined process, the combined ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis membrane technology was successfully applied in acid pit water containing copper. Based on this technology, a set of 4000 m3/D membrane treatment system was established, recovering 12 million yuan of copper metal annually, saving 6 million yuan of reagent cost, and reducing the storage pressure of about 30000 m3.
