The team innovatively proposed a scheme of "direct selective flotation under xanthate system" aligning with sodium sulfide method. The solution achieved great success in commercial production and improved the whole Cu-Mo separation industry. Only within 5 months from its start, the project helped the plant achieve a processing throughput of 80,000 tons/day and produced the Mo concentrate grade over 45% with  a 65% overall Mo recovery. Thanks to the success of this project, the company increased an annual profit of nearly 130 million Yuan.
